||Dr Louise Fearfield is a Consultant Dermatologist who has worked at the Berkshire Independent Hospital for the last ten years. She did her medical training at Oriel College, Oxford University and St Thomas' Hospital, London qualifying in 1992. Once her general medical training was completed she specialised in Dermatology where she developed her interest in Melanoma and Skin Cancer. In 2002 she was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine, Oxon, for her thesis on 'Prognostic factors in very thin melanoma'. In 2002 she became a Consultant at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and 2009 moved to Chelsea & Westminster and the Royal Marsden Hospital specialising further in skin cancer and research.

Dermatology appointments were as a Senior House Officer at the Chelsea & Westminster and Charing Cross Hospitals in London. Louise was Specialist Registrar, Research Registrar and Locum Consultant Dermatologist at the Chelsea & Westminster, Charing Cross and Royal Marsden Hospitals in London.
She was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree in July 2002 after submitting her thesis entitled “,”Prognostic factors in very thin melanoma“,” to Oxford University. She continues to do research into melanoma at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Her current interests involve skin toxicity associated with the newer cancer targeted therapies.
Dr Louise Fearfield is based at the Royal Marsden and Chelsea & Westminster, London NHS Trust Hospitals and sees private patients at The Berkshire Independent Hospital. She sees children of any age for any general dermatological problems including eczema and psoriasis. She also specialises in moles and acne treatment
