This was all preceded by a period of research into many aspects of bowel cancer, about which he published widely. Daniel also provides training for courses held at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and St. Mark’s Hospital.

Daniel’s sub-speciality training is in Colorectal Surgery, providing up to date treatments for anal and rectal disorders, as well as bowel cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.

Where appropriate all major surgery will be performed laparoscopically (keyhole). This is also true for hernias and gall bladder disease. He also provides diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (flexible telescopes) including OGD, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy.
