200 years long service for BIH staff
Thursday 16 June 2016

Berkshire Independent Hospital congratulated some of their staff for their long service on the afternoon of Monday 13th June. The celebration was held in the dining room at the hospital where yummy cakes & scones, tea and coffee were served by the catering team and very much enjoyed by all. The recipients have clocked up over 200 years of service between them and of course were the VIP guests on the day.

Yasmin Wiggins from the Business Office, Gary Miller a Night Porter, Deborah Series the Practice Manager, Janet Albright a Recovery Sister, Harry Marriott from the Quality Team, Saranjit Sandhu a Housekeeper, Jade Weeks who works over two departments as a Receptionist and Catering Assistant, Bonnie De Asis a Staff Nurse, Marianne Gamboa, Mitzi Calvez and Abigail Barry who are all Staff Nurses in Theatres, all received awards.

Unfortunately, some were unable to make it on the day but have also received awards. They were Mary Barlolong, Shaneen Annesley, Rachel Cross, Mark Gavin, Mark Langford, Adrian Pereta, Cila Richards and Wendy Weller.

Claire Gurrie, General Manager said “It is really great to be able to reward staff for their dedication and hard work over such long periods of time. Over the years Berkshire Independent Hospital has grown and developed and it’s great to be able to celebrate with those who have been there through it all continuously ensuring we deliver the exceptional standards our patients have come to expect.”
