Miss Annette Bacon
MA, MB BChir, FRCS, FRCOphth
Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Berkshire Independent
Hospital, she is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists
and a member of the British Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery Society.
Specialist in lid surgery, both medical and cosmetic.
She introduced the phaco emulsification technique of cataract
surgery to Reading and first introduced the small incision surgery
within cataract surgery in 2006. Experienced in general
ophthalmology since 1994, Miss Bacon runs a specialist clinic for
the assessment and treatment of Cataracts.

Mr Peter Constable
BM, BCh, MA, MD, FRCOphth
Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Berkshire Independent
Hospital, he specialises in Glaucoma treatment and micro incision
cataract surgery. His research interests include wound healing
post-glaucoma surgery and visual field technology.
Peter holds a number of memberships of professional bodies
including the Royal College of Ophthalmology, Royal Society of
Medicine, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and
the Royal College of Ophthalmologist.
